Why Do You Need a Self-care Coach?

On paper, you know that you need to take care of your mental health to stay well. Just like how you need to take care of your physical health to stay in shape.

But why is it so hard to make the time for mental wellness?

Many of us, women particularly, have been told that we need to take care of other things before we should take care of ourselves: kids, family, spouse, work, house, community, appearances, etc.

Leaving our wellness at the bottom of the list IF it even shows up at all.

So, what can you do to make self-care a priority?

You have two options.

1. You can do it on your own.

Decide to make a commitment to your wellness and do something every day to feel good in your body, calm your mind and improve your outlook on life.

2. Or you can do it with a coach.

Having someone to guide you — someone who has walked that path before —  is what will keep you accountable to the commitment you made to your wellness.

Accountability is the key to long lasting wellness. Having someone to keep you accountable ensures that while you're building self-care habits you can rely on them to help keep you on the path until those habits become routine.

It’s easy to veer off of the self-care path without someone holding your hand. So why not take the leap and make the commitment to your wellness by working with a coach?
