Your mental health is strong when it is resilient
What does that mean to be resilient? It means that you can go with the flow and not get hung up on when things don’t go as expected.
If you’ve spent time in the yoga or spiritual world, you may have heard that expectation is the root of suffering.
When we expect life to be a certain way, that leads to inevitable disappointment. That disappointment is what causes people to feel like they’re forced to go along with whatever life throws at them, ie by definition suffering through the situation.
And when you shift from expecting life to be a certain way to allowing yourself to move through life as it is, i.e. continually acknowledging your emotions and processing change, your mental health becomes adaptable and resilient. You can feel the highs and lows and can ALWAYS bounce back to your natural state of being.
This email challenge is here to help you boost your mental resilience by giving you 3 tools to reconnect with your present moment, process change and elevate your mood at any point.
